Security Forces Eliminate Nine Terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

In three separate operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces neutralized at least nine terrorists supported by India, according to the military’s media division on Sunday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement detailing an intelligence-driven operation in the Dera Ismail Khan region, prompted by credible reports of the presence of terrorists with Indian backing.

Dera Ismail Khan Operation

“During the operation, our forces effectively engaged the location of these terrorists. Following a fierce exchange of fire, four terrorists with Indian sponsorship were killed,” the statement noted.

Tank District Operation

Another intelligence-based operation unfolded in the Tank district. An exchange of fire resulted in the elimination of two additional terrorists who were aided by India.

Khyber District Operation

In a third engagement in the Bagh area of Khyber district, troops successfully took out three more terrorists, according to the ISPR.

The operation led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the deceased terrorists, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist acts in the regions. Scouring operations were underway to clear the area, with Pakistani security forces resolute in their mission to eradicate terrorism from the nation, the statement emphasized.
