Islamabad: In line with the vision of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi to ensure citizen-centric policing, SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan held an open court at his office, creating a direct platform for citizens and police personnel to voice their concerns.

Senior police officers were present during the open court where SSP Operations attentively heard complaints from the public and police officials alike. He marked the received applications to the relevant officers with clear instructions for timely and merit-based resolution and directed them to report back within the specified time frame.

Addressing the attendees, SSP Shoaib Khan reaffirmed Islamabad Police’s zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and bribery, stressing that any official found involved in such misconduct would face strict disciplinary action.

He reiterated that Islamabad Police is fully committed to protecting the life, property, and dignity of citizens, and that these open court initiatives will continue to provide relief through friendly policing and prompt accountability.

“These interactions not only promote a culture of transparency but also foster self-accountability within the department,” he said. “The open courts are an effective mechanism for bridging the gap between police and the public and ensuring swift redressal of grievances.”
