Following the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Ali Rizvi, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and AIG Investigation and Complaints Syed Ali Inayat Ali Shah held open courts at their offices to directly listen to citizens’ and police officials’ grievances Senior police officers also attended these sessions During the open courts they heard complaints marked applications to the relevant officers and ordered timely action on merit with reports to be submitted within the given time frame
They reiterated that strict action will be taken against any officials involved in bribery or corruption and that a zero tolerance policy is being enforced They emphasized that Islamabad Police are fully committed to protecting the lives property and self respect of citizens and that such interactions will continue to provide maximum relief to the public
Officials noted that open courts help promote friendly policing ensure self accountability and enable prompt resolution of citizens’ problems By holding these sessions Islamabad Police aim to strengthen trust build transparency and make the police service more responsive to the community
