IRS Probationary Officers Visit FBR Headquarters
ISLAMABAD: As their field postings commenced, the probationary officers of the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) from the 51st Specialized Training Program (STP) paid a visit to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Headquarters. The on-service training group is composed of 42 officers.
Upon their arrival at the FBR Headquarters, senior FBR officials greeted the officers and accompanied them to the Skylight Arena for a structured briefing.
Chairman of the FBR, Rashid Mahmood Langrial, presided over the session, which was also attended by Dr. Hamid Ateeq Sarwar, Member Inland Revenue (Operations), in addition to other high-ranking officials from the Revenue Division.
During the meeting, Chairman Langrial welcomed the probationary officers and initiated a conversation to gather their insights on the organizational structure, functions, and operational challenges.
He carefully considered their observations regarding their experiences in the field and commended their proactive involvement and dedication to revenue mobilization initiatives.
The officers showed significant interest in gaining a deeper understanding of the FBR’s institutional framework and posed thoughtful questions pertaining to tax policy and its execution.
