Ireland Announces Tour to Bangladesh for Tests and T20Is
DUBLIN: Cricket Ireland revealed on Tuesday their squads for the Test and T20I series on their tour of Bangladesh, scheduled from November 11 to December 2.
The tour will commence with a two-match Test series, with games to be held in Sylhet and Dhaka.
For the Test matches, Ireland has selected a 15-member team, which includes five uncapped players. Cade Carmichael, Stephen Doheny, Jordan Neill, and Liam McCarthy have earned their first call-ups, while Gavin Hoey returns to the squad seeking his debut.
Andy Balbirnie, an experienced batter, will captain the Ireland squad against Bangladesh.
The T20I squad for the three-match series against Bangladesh remains largely consistent with the team that recently played against England. Mark Adair, Josh Little, and Tim Tector are back in the side, taking the places of Neil and Graham Hume.
Adair had knee surgery in August, and Little has been recovering from a side strain.
