New Details Emerge in Humaira Asghar’s Death
Fresh information has surfaced regarding the puzzling death of actress Humaira Asghar. Her body was discovered in a deteriorated condition earlier in July at her residence in Karachi.
The actor and model’s body was found on July 8 within an apartment situated in Ittehad Commercial, Defence. Her remains were discovered in a decomposed state when a court bailiff, acting on the property owner’s complaint of outstanding rent, gained access to the apartment.
Key Findings from Investigation
Authorities investigating the actor’s demise have revealed important details. Records recovered from her apartment indicate that utility payments and rent were current until May 2024.
Evidence suggests that she might have been doing laundry not long before her passing. Investigators found clothing items both inside a bathroom tub and in proximity to the washing area.
Additional Information
- Humaira Asghar’s body was located in a room adjacent to the bedroom.
- The balcony door of that room was found to be open, officials stated.
- The apartment’s primary entrance was secured from the inside using a double lock system.
Investigators noted that neighbors had reported a bad odor emanating from the apartment in December 2024. Forensic analysis suggests that Humaira Asghar’s death likely occurred around October 7, 2024.
“The definitive cause of death will be ascertained pending a chemical analysis and medical assessment,” officials confirmed.
According to investigators, on the day of her suspected death, Humaira communicated with 14 individuals via mobile phone. Authorities recovered three mobile phones, a tablet, a diary, and various documents from the apartment.
Police further stated that the actress had three SIM cards registered in her name, all of which were active within the recovered devices. Two of the three mobile phones were not protected by passwords.
Digital forensic analysis reveals that her phones contained over 2,000 saved contacts. Additionally, there’s consistent evidence of communication with at least 75 unique phone numbers over a sustained period, officials added.
