Karachi Board Announces HSC Part-II Science Pre-Medical Results; Female Students Secure Top Positions

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has declared the results of the HSC Part-II Science Pre-medical annual examinations 2025. In an impressive showing, the top three positions were all achieved by female candidates.

BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho revealed the results, stating that Fatima Siddiqui, daughter of Muhammad Khalid from Bahria College Karsaz, attained the first position with 1,021 marks out of a possible 1,100, thereby earning an A-1 grade.

The second position was claimed by Munazza Khan, daughter of Mubashir Hassan, also a student of Bahria College Karsaz, who secured 1,016 marks and an A-1 grade. Anusha Naveed, daughter of Naveed Sarwar from the College of Emerging Technologies, achieved the third position with 1,015 marks, also with an A-1 grade.

Zarina Rashid, the Controller of Examinations, mentioned that a total of 28,259 candidates enrolled for the examinations, with 27,323 actually appearing.

Out of those who appeared, 15,572 candidates were successful, resulting in an overall pass rate of 56.99%. The breakdown of grades awarded is as follows: 1,998 students achieved A-1 grades, 3,471 secured A grades, 4,070 earned B grades, 4,095 obtained C grades, 1,878 received D grades, and 60 were awarded E grades.

The BIEK chairman extended his congratulations to the successful students. He also announced that a ceremony will be conducted to recognize and celebrate the achievements of the position holders once the results of all groups are finalized. Parents, teachers, and members of the media will be invited to the event.
