Hozier Included in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025

Hozier has been recognized as one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential individuals for 2025.

He appears on the list alongside celebrated figures such as Mark Zuckerberg, former US President Donald Trump, Ed Sheeran, Snoop Dogg, and Blake Lively, among others.

The list encompasses a diverse range of categories including artists, titans, innovators, pioneers, icons, and leaders. Hozier’s inclusion is attributed to fellow Grammy-nominated musician Noah Kahan.

Kahan, who gained prominence with his hit song “Stick Season,” also penned an article for Time, highlighting the folk singer’s impact.

“When an artist can craft a sound so exquisitely beautiful and melancholic, so rich with symbolism and truth that it feels transported from another era, or a more perfect realm, you are compelled to believe in magic,” Kahan expressed.

Kahan further added, “Hozier captivated me from the very first note. His music became the standard for my own aspirations: How can I infuse a song with the same soulful essence that Hozier achieves? How can I develop a unique voice, a distinct language, akin to his?”

The “Dial Drunk” artist recounted, “He inquired if I would be interested in a duet. I encountered him unexpectedly in a hotel lobby, clad in sweaty golf attire and holding a bag of fast food—far from my imagined scenario. Thankfully, he is exceptionally gracious. We discussed the performance, and I found myself in disbelief as I devoured fries on the way to my room.”

Hozier initially gained recognition through his renowned songs, “Take Me To Church,” and his more recent track, “Too Sweet.”
