Prince Harry’s Security Court Case Potentially Jeopardized by Private Talks with King Charles
A royal expert suggests that Prince Harry’s ongoing legal battle concerning his security arrangements in the UK could be negatively impacted if he attempts to discuss the matter privately with King Charles.
Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths stated in a discussion with GB News that any behind-the-scenes lobbying by the Duke of Sussex to influence his father might undermine his legal position.
Griffiths also speculated that the Royal Family might postpone any attempts to reconcile with Harry until the conclusion of the three-year legal dispute.
She explained, “Charles faces the risk that the current appeal could collapse if Harry privately lobbies his father, which would severely harm the court case.”
“The duration of the appeal is uncertain; it has already dragged on for three years.”
“I doubt they will re-establish contact until the appeal process is fully resolved.”
Harry is currently contesting the UK government’s decision to reduce his police protection during visits to the UK.
His security level was lowered after he relinquished his royal duties in 2020, a decision that Harry contends endangers his family.
Despite a High Court judge initially upholding the legality of the decision, Harry has been granted the right to appeal.
