Qawi Naseer Appointed CEO of Haleon Pakistan Limited
Haleon Pakistan Limited, a noted consumer healthcare firm, has announced the appointment of Qawi Naseer as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The publicly traded entity communicated this key development in an official notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The announcement stated, “In reference to the company’s prior correspondence dated April 17, 2025, this is to formally advise that Farhan Muhammad Haroon has tendered his resignation from the positions of CEO and Executive Director of the Board of Directors of Haleon Pakistan Limited, effective June 1, 2025.”
“Qawi Naseer has been designated as the incoming CEO and Executive Director, assuming his responsibilities from June 1, 2025,” the notification further clarified.
Earlier in April, Haleon Pakistan’s Board of Directors had resolved to nominate Qawi Naseer, who initially joined the organization on April 28, 2025, for the CEO role.
The company remarked at the time, “Mr. Naseer is a highly motivated and skilled business leader recognized for his history of spearheading considerable growth and advancements within the consumer goods sector.”
In March, Haleon Pakistan Limited, previously recognized as GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Pakistan Limited, declared the successful exportation of Centrum, a popular multivitamin product, from its Jamshoro production facility to Kenya.
According to details on the company’s official website, Haleon Pakistan has an international scope, conducting commercial operations in over 150 nations, supported by a network of 86 manufacturing plants across 36 countries, and features significant research and development (R&D) centers located in the UK, USA, Spain, Belgium, and China.
