Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan Following Global Market Trend
On Wednesday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced an upswing, mirroring gains observed in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market climbed to Rs352,900, marking an increase of Rs600 during the day’s trading.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also rose to Rs302,554, reflecting a gain of Rs514.
In contrast, the previous day, Tuesday, saw the gold price per tola settle at Rs352,300, after a reduction of Rs6,100 throughout the day.
The international gold rate also saw an increase on Wednesday, reaching $3,345 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which is $6 higher than the previous rate, as per APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained consistent at Rs3,745.
