Gold Prices Drop in Pakistan Amid Global Downtrend
On Friday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring the downward trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs344,500, representing a reduction of Rs1,300.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs1,114, reaching a selling price of Rs295,353.
Previously, on Wednesday, the per tola gold price had fallen by Rs3,400, bringing it to Rs345,800.
The international gold rate also saw a decline on Friday. The APGJSA reported the rate at $3,263 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which is a $13 decrease during the day.
Conversely, the price of silver per tola in Pakistan remained stable at Rs3,427.
