Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan
The cost of gold in Pakistan experienced an upswing on Tuesday, mirroring gains seen in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market increased by Rs2,100, reaching Rs349,200.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also saw a rise of Rs1,800, settling at Rs299,382.
Internationally, gold prices also increased on Tuesday. APGJSA reported the rate at $3,310 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $21 increase during the day.
On the prior day, Monday, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs1,600, eventually settling at Rs347,100.
The price of silver per tola in Pakistan remained steady at Rs3,497.
