Gold Prices Reach New Heights in Pakistan
On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan achieved a new all-time high. In the local market, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs8,100, reaching Rs357,800, marking a historic peak.
According to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also rose by Rs6,944 to settle at Rs306,755.
Notably, on Saturday, the gold price per tola remained steady at Rs349,700.
Internationally, gold rates also broke records on Monday. APGJSA reported the international rate at $3,395 per ounce (with a $20 premium), reflecting a $69 increase during the day.
Concurrently, the price of silver saw an increase of Rs24, concluding the day at Rs3,441 per tola.
