Gold Prices Rise Again in Pakistan
On Saturday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a further increase, mirroring the upward trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs363,000, marking a gain of Rs1,500 during the day’s trading.
According to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,206 to reach Rs311,213.
The previous day, Friday, saw the per tola gold price climb to Rs361,500 after an increase of Rs4,600.
Internationally, gold rates also saw an upswing on Saturday, reaching $3,432 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which represents an increase of $15.
In related news, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs7, settling at Rs3,787.
