Gold Prices Surge to New Heights
Gold prices have achieved unprecedented levels in both domestic and global markets. In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola has soared to a record high of Rs348,000, marking an increase of Rs8,600 on Wednesday.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs298,353, reflecting a rise of Rs7,373, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The international gold rate also touched an all-time peak on Wednesday. The APGJSA reported the rate at $3,310 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which is an $86 increase within the day.
On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola had already climbed by Rs600, settling at Rs339,400.
The price of silver also saw an increase of Rs63, concluding at Rs3,460 per tola in Pakistan.
