Tyson Fury Predicts Moses Itauma Will Dominate Heavyweight Division

Tyson Fury has voiced his opinion that Moses Itauma is destined to triumph over Oleksandr Usyk and other veterans in the heavyweight class.

Itauma has rapidly become a formidable presence, boasting a flawless record of 13 wins, with an impressive 11 victories achieved by knockout.

At just 20 years old, he showcases remarkable talent and has drawn comparisons to legendary figures such as Mike Tyson since his early career.

Fury shared his thoughts on social media, articulating his high regard for Itauma. He anticipates Itauma reaching the pinnacle of success and defeating the older competitors in the heavyweight division, including Usyk.

Fury stated, “I continually receive inquiries about a potential match between young Moses Itauma and Oleksandr Usyk, along with other prominent names. My perspective comes from extensive experience, having competed at the highest levels and secured numerous championships. Boxing favors youth, a point I emphasized to Wladimir Klitschko when he was 37. This sport favors the young; it waits for no one.”

Fury further commented that Moses Itauma is poised to ‘overthrow all the seasoned fighters’ in the division because boxing inherently favors younger athletes.

He added, “Here’s my forecast, remember you heard it here first: Moses Itauma will dismantle all the veterans in the division. Usyk, AJ, (Jarrell) Miller, and anyone else considered old, such as (Zhilei) Zhang or Luis Ortiz. All the significant figures from the past, even Usyk, who currently holds my belts, will be defeated by Moses. It’s a contest of youth against age, and youth holds the advantage.”
