FCCI President Congratulates Nation on Independence Day
FAISALABAD: The President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), Rehan Naseem Bharara, has extended his congratulations to the citizens of Pakistan on the 78th Independence Day. He emphasized the need for unified efforts to enhance the country’s strength, advancement, and overall well-being.
In a special address delivered on the eve of Independence Day, Bharara noted the unparalleled sacrifices made by previous generations to secure freedom. He stated that this day brings added joy, as it commemorates both the nation’s independence and the significant triumph against India.
Bharara commented that the armed forces, under the guidance of Field Marshal Hafiz Asim Munir, have demonstrated not only military prowess but also diplomatic achievements. He expressed optimism that Pakistan is now well-positioned to embark on a path toward economic stability and aims to attain developed nation status in the near future.
Rehan Naseem Bharara highlighted pressing environmental issues, observing that while Pakistan’s contribution to global warming is minimal, the nation is among the most severely impacted. He encouraged young Pakistanis to contribute by planting trees on Independence Day, rather than engaging in hazardous activities like one-wheeling or creating excessive noise.
He concluded, “Extensive tree planting is essential to transform Pakistan into a verdant nation and mitigate the potential impacts of floods and other disasters.”
