Wedding Brawl Erupts in Karachi

A violent altercation transpired between relatives of the bride and groom at a wedding venue in Karachi’s Federal B Area Block 8, Azizabad.

The incident, which took place two days prior, commenced as a heated verbal dispute before escalating into a full-blown physical confrontation.

Captured CCTV footage reveals the verbal exchange between the families intensifying, leading to the throwing of chairs and physical combat.

Authorities reported that law enforcement officers, arriving to quell the disturbance, were also met with resistance. Constable Hafiz Usman sustained injuries during the scuffle and was promptly taken to a medical facility for treatment.

Police have confirmed the arrest of three individuals implicated in the clash. An official complaint has been lodged against the detainees, along with 30 to 40 unidentified individuals. The charges encompass rioting, property damage, and assault on police personnel.

It has been alleged by law enforcement that those involved in the fracas were under the influence of intoxicants. Further raids are underway to apprehend other individuals linked to the incident.
