Rawalpindi police have verified their suspicion of a woman’s murder in the Pir Wadhai vicinity. A local court has mandated the exhumation of her body for a detailed post-mortem examination.

According to statements from law enforcement, magistrate Qamar Abbas has issued directives to exhume the body on Saturday for an official autopsy, driven by preliminary findings pointing towards a potential homicide.

Authorities have reported the apprehension of over eight individuals concerning this case. Those detained encompass members of the deceased’s own family.

The area magistrate has formally notified the woman’s legal beneficiaries, requiring their presence on July 26.

Investigators revealed that the woman’s husband initially filed a missing person report on July 21, asserting that his wife had willingly departed from their shared residence.
