Pakistani Baseball Player Lance Khan Dies in Car Accident

HOUSTON: Lance Khan, a promising baseball talent from Pakistan and a distinguished college athlete in the United States, has tragically died at the age of 21 following a vehicular accident.

Khan, who proudly represented Pakistan in the 2023 Lincoln Cup, was recognized as a significant emerging player in the national baseball program.

As the Pakistan Baseball Federation dedicates itself to enhancing the sport’s recognition within the nation, Khan stood out as a symbol of future promise.

An alumnus of Lamar Little League, Khan continued his baseball career at the University of St. Thomas (UST), where he promptly gained recognition. His skill, resolve, and optimistic demeanor garnered respect both on and off the field.

A GoFundMe campaign has been established to assist Khan’s family with the costs associated with the funeral and memorial services.

During the car accident, one of Khan’s close friends was also hurt, but is expected to make a full recovery.

Since then, tributes have been pouring in from teammates, instructors, and acquaintances in both Pakistan and the United States, paying respect to a young sportsman whose impact extended well beyond the baseball field.
