BTS’ Jin Announces First Solo Tour

Kim Seok-jin, known as Jin from the globally recognized K-pop group BTS, has formally revealed his inaugural solo tour. As the oldest member of the seven-member band, Jin, along with his bandmates, had previously enlisted for mandatory military service in South Korea. Now, having fulfilled his national duty, he is making his return to the music scene.

Under the banner #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, the tour itinerary includes visits to nine cities worldwide, encompassing a total of 18 performances across South Korea, Japan, the United States, the UK, and the Netherlands.

The tour is scheduled to commence with a pair of shows in Goyang, South Korea, on June 28 and 29. Both performances will be available for live streaming via Weverse.

Subsequently, Jin will travel to Japan for concerts in Chiba on July 5 and 6, followed by Osaka on July 12 and 13. His tour will then take him to the United States, with scheduled concerts in Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark from July 17 to 31.

The European segment of the tour, a clear reference to Jin’s Run Jin series featured on BTS’ official YouTube channel, will feature the K-pop artist performing at The O2 in London on August 5 and 6, and later at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on August 9 and 10.

The tour announcement coincides with the approaching release of Jin’s second solo album, Echo, slated for May 16. This release will occur approximately six months after the debut of his first solo album, Happy, which was launched last November.
