Tribal Clashes in Qila Abdullah Result in Fatalities
At least six individuals have lost their lives, and numerous others sustained injuries during tribal conflicts in Qila Abdullah, Balochistan, according to the deputy commissioner.
The confrontations incited widespread alarm within the vicinity, prompting the shutdown of marketplaces. Upon notification of the occurrence, law enforcement officers and regional administrators promptly reached the location, establishing a security perimeter and transporting the injured along with the deceased to medical facilities.
Expressing concern over the utilization of sophisticated weaponry by both factions, the DC mentioned that Frontier Corps (FC) personnel have been summoned to manage the circumstances and halt the hostilities, supported by law enforcement agencies surrounding the region.
The local administration has communicated that a council of tribal leaders has successfully negotiated a truce between the opposing groups. Furthermore, the deputy commissioner in conjunction with tribal authorities has ensured the removal of armed individuals from the affected zone.
Detailing the specifics of the event, the district administration stated that the deceased belonged to the Badwan and Orakzai tribes.
It was also conveyed that law enforcement and FC units have assumed control of Tot Adda, and the fourteen individuals who suffered injuries in the skirmishes have been admitted to hospitals situated in Qila Abdullah, Pishin, and Quetta.
