PCB Announces Camp for White-Ball Series, Includes Senior Players
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the convocation of five additional players, featuring veteran players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, for the upcoming white-ball and pre-Bangladesh series camp in Karachi.
The cricket board stated that the week-long training camp is scheduled to take place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from July 9 to 15.
National cricketers who are named in the 15-member Pakistan squad for the forthcoming away T20I series against Bangladesh, along with the five additional players, are expected to arrive in Karachi later today to participate in the training camp.
In addition to the senior trio, Mohammad Wasim Jr and Naseem Shah are also among the five additional players called up for the camp.
According to a statement released by the cricket board, members of Pakistan’s T20I squad will gather in Karachi on Tuesday, with the additional players for the white-ball camp reporting on the same day.
Prior to the camp’s conclusion on July 15, Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha is scheduled to hold a press conference.
