National White-Ball Cricketers’ Camp Commences in Lahore
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the commencement of a three-day camp for the nation’s top 22 white-ball cricketers at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground. This camp kicked off on Tuesday.
The PCB has structured the 22 players into three distinct groups, with arrivals scheduled for June 3, 4, and 5, respectively.
The initial group of cricketers, including notable names such as Babar Azam, Abbas Afridi, Saud Shakeel, Salman Mirza, Shahid Aziz, Usman Khan, and Salman Mirza, engaged in various training sessions on Tuesday. These sessions were conducted under the supervision of the Pakistan men’s team management, spearheaded by white-ball head coach Mike Hesson.
Information suggests that the PCB will utilize this camp to brief the players on future plans. Their physical condition and performance levels will also undergo thorough evaluation.
It is anticipated that senior players will actively participate in all three training sessions. Top performers from the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 will also be featured during these sessions.
Furthermore, Mike Hesson, Pakistan’s white-ball head coach, is slated to engage with the standout performers, providing them with updates regarding the path forward.
The remaining 15 players summoned for the white-ball camp include:
- Aamir Jamal
- Abdullah Shafique
- Ahmed Daniyal

Following the series victory against Bangladesh, Pakistan is expected to have a brief respite before embarking on a tour to Bangladesh next month for a potential three-match T20I series.
