Nepal Confirmed for Top End T20 Series; Pakistan Shaheens Likely to Participate

Sources indicated on Sunday that Pakistan Shaheens are expected to participate in the Top End T20 series, which is scheduled to occur in Darwin, Australia, from August 14 to 24.

Following their tour of England in July, the team may proceed to Australia to compete in the regional T20 tournament, according to information received.

The Shaheens competed in the Darwin tournament the previous year, and their participation this year is highly anticipated.

The Top End T20 Series is anticipated to include four teams, with Nepal being the first to formally declare their involvement.

In preparation for the England tour, a training camp will commence on July 10 in Karachi.

In related news, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) verified on Wednesday that Pakistan and Bangladesh will play a much awaited three-match away T20I series from July 20 to 24.

The Pakistan men’s team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on July 16. The first T20I will be held on July 20 at the Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, as per the schedule.

The second and third T20Is are also scheduled to take place at the same location on July 22 and 24, respectively. All three games are slated to begin at 5 PM Pakistan Standard Time.

Notably, the two teams’ most recent encounter was in a T20I series in May, when Pakistan won 3-0 at home.
