Australia Announces Squad for World Championship of Legends 2025

Australia Champions have revealed their impressive squad for the second season of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), set to be held in the United Kingdom from July 18 to August 2, 2025. Their initial match will be against England Champions.

The squad features several celebrated players, including former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee, dynamic batsman Chris Lynn, and experienced top-order batsman Shaun Marsh.

Also joining are seasoned veterans like Ben Cutting, Moises Henriques, Peter Siddle, Nathan Coulter-Nile, and D’Arcy Short, making the Australia Champions a balanced and formidable team in the competition.

Lee commented on the excitement of returning to the field alongside fellow cricket legends and the chance to represent Australia once more, emphasizing the emotional and competitive importance of the tournament.

Following a successful debut last year, the WCL will again showcase cricket legends from six nations: Australia, Pakistan, India, England, South Africa, and the West Indies.

The tournament will commence on July 18 at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, with Pakistan Champions facing England Champions in the opening game.

The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match is scheduled for July 20, also at Edgbaston.
