Pakistan Conducts Successful Missile Training Launch

As part of the ongoing military exercise ‘Indus’, Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of a Fatah series surface-to-surface missile. The missile has a range of 120 kilometers, according to the military’s media wing on Monday.

This marks the second missile launch by the military in recent days, amidst increased tensions with India. This follows New Delhi’s actions in the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident, which have negatively impacted bilateral relations.

The purpose of this launch was to confirm the operational readiness of the forces and to assess essential technical criteria. This includes the missile’s advanced navigation capabilities and enhanced accuracy, as stated by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Senior officers from the Pakistan Army, along with scientists and engineers representing Pakistan’s strategic organizations, observed the launch.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir extended their congratulations to the troops, scientists, and engineers involved in the exercise.

They conveyed strong confidence in the Pakistan Army’s readiness and technical capabilities to effectively respond to any threat against the nation’s sovereignty.
