Pakistani Embassy in Abu Dhabi Celebrates Young Authors

The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi recently hosted a book launch to honor two young Pakistani authors, Amina Munawar Khan and Dua Farhan Ahmed. Their books delve into subjects like identity, morality, and personal discovery.

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi supported the event and acknowledged the writers for their inventiveness and impact on Pakistani literature internationally.

Amina Khan’s novel, “Girlhood Diaries,” provides a touching depiction of the emotional and social lives of young women, capturing their aspirations, challenges, and the complexities of growing up in today’s fast-paced environment.

Dua Farhan Ahmed’s “The Truth Behind the Evil” explores the age-old battle between good and evil, presenting a reflective examination of the human spirit’s internal struggle between virtue and vice.

During the event, attendees engaged in discussions about the changing face of literature, the significance of reading in the digital age, and the increasing impact of Pakistanis living abroad on global culture.

Ambassador Tirmizi praised the authors, noting, “These young writers offer new perspectives to our literary world and symbolize Pakistan’s intellectual prowess and creative essence.”

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the authors, recognizing their notable achievements in literature.
