Imran Qureshi’s Art Exhibition in Dubai

DUBAI: Imran Qureshi, a well-known Pakistani artist celebrated for his culturally rich and innovative artwork, is showcasing his latest masterpieces in an exclusive solo exhibition in Dubai.

Qureshi, an accomplished artist and recipient of Pakistan’s Sitara-e-Imtiaz, is acclaimed for his fusion of traditional methods with contemporary narratives.

The exhibition presents a diverse array of artistic expressions, which includes miniature paintings, captivating photographic displays, and a digital art video accompanied by traditional Sufi music, providing visitors with a rich, multi-faceted cultural immersion.

A particularly eye-catching feature is a vividly colorful “Charpoy” (a traditional woven bed), crafted in Pakistan by Qureshi’s dedicated team. This distinct piece embodies the convergence of heritage with modern creativity and has emerged as a central highlight, garnering significant admiration from both visitors and esteemed Emirati guests.

Curator Nida Raza praised Imran Qureshi’s talent for integrating political and cultural themes into his creations, highlighting the “Charpoy” installation as a remarkable tribute to Pakistani customs.
