Orioles Secure Victory, Marking 28th Win of Season

BALTIMORE: The Baltimore Orioles triumphed over the Chicago White Sox with a 2-1 victory in MLB’s American League East. Zach Eflin’s stellar performance, pitching seven shutout innings at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Friday, was pivotal.

Eflin delivered a commanding performance, conceding only four hits and issuing one walk while striking out six. Bryan Baker provided scoreless relief, and Felix Bautista allowed just two hits to close out the game against the White Sox.

On the offensive side, the Orioles benefited from timely hitting by Gunnar Henderson and Ryan Mountcastle, each contributing two hits and one run.

The White Sox managed a solitary run in the third inning and struggled to generate further offense. Sean Burke pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk, with six strikeouts.

Despite a strong pitching display that limited Baltimore to six hits, Chicago was unable to level the score.

Baltimore’s defense remained solid, preserving their advantage in the later innings and delighting the home fans.

With this victory, the Orioles continue their pursuit of the American League East’s top position.

This win signifies the Orioles’ 28th of the season, and the teams will face each other again in their next game.
