Hinch Lauds Greene as a Key Player for the Tigers Following Victory

CALIFORNIA: The Detroit Tigers delivered a decisive 9-1 triumph over the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium on Friday.

With this win, the Tigers now hold a 21-12 record, while the Angels’ record drops to 12-19.

Tarik Skubal shone for the Tigers, pitching eight innings and allowing just one run on four hits, with five strikeouts.

Chase Lee, Tyler Holton, and Tyler Owens combined their efforts to secure the victory.

The Tigers’ offense was potent, with nearly every starter recording at least one hit. Javier Báez stood out, going two for four with a home run and two RBIs.

Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson each added two hits and one RBI, while Colt Keith also had two hits.

After the game, manager A.J. Hinch commended Greene as one of the team’s premier players, highlighting his impact in the heart of the batting lineup.

Despite scoring a solo run early, the Angels struggled to maintain a consistent offensive presence. The Tigers seized control with a four-run fifth inning and maintained their lead.
