Meri Brown Reflects on Friendship with Robyn Brown

Meri Brown is finding common ground with her close friend regarding the deterioration of her relationship with Robyn Brown, her former sister wife.

A sneak peek from the upcoming season of Sister Wives features Meri, 54, and her confidante, Jenn Sullivan, discussing Meri’s bond with Kody Brown’s sole remaining wife from his plural marriages.

Referring to Robyn, Meri stated, “Many people believe she was deceptive, dishonest, and manipulative.”

Jenn chose not to judge the situation, advising Meri to be guarded and careful.

She further commented, “I don’t believe the manipulation was deliberate. I think Kody decided that he had this new confidante, making it them against everyone else.”

Jenn continued, “She would act like your closest friend, then completely disregard you and hurt your feelings. It’s truly messed up. You should either be consistently unpleasant or not at all.”

After considering her friend’s insights, Meri admitted that her connection with Robyn “was strong, and I felt secure in it.”

“We were very intimate. Then, a separation began,” Meri, a mother of one, mentioned.

Kody was once in a plural marriage with four wives; however, he now resides only with Robyn. Christine Brown, his third wife, was the first to leave in November 2021.

In December 2022, Janelle Brown, the patriarch’s second wife, also ended their marriage.

Before this, Kody and Meri, his first wife, reconciled in January 2023, years after their legal separation.

Reportedly, Robyn urged Meri not to leave after Christine and Janelle departed from the Brown family.

Notably, Meri and Kody legally divorced in 2014 and finalized their spiritual separation through their church, the Apostolic United Brethren, in 2023.
