Sharif also highlighted the Pakistan Police’s global recognition, stating, “The Pakistan Police has demonstrated its expertise worldwide, evidenced by the medals and awards received at the recent World Police Summit 2025. The integration of modern technology in policing to foster public peace and effectively prevent crime is encouraging, enhancing citizen safety.”
He further remarked on the police’s crucial role in establishing anti-terrorism units in all provinces, collaborative efforts with the Pakistan Army and Rangers, and disaster response, which has improved public perception and significantly boosted police performance.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the hundreds of operations conducted by the police to counter terrorism, thwarting attempts to create insecurity and disorder in Pakistan.
He concluded, “Every police officer dedicated to protecting the nation, from Gwadar’s shores to Gilgit-Baltistan’s mountains, is a source of pride for me and the entire nation.”
