Rabadanov Extends Win Streak to 14 with Fourth Consecutive Knockout
WICHITA: Gadzhi Rabadanov, a lightweight competitor from Russia, has secured his spot in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) Lightweight Tournament final. He achieved this by defeating Kevin Lee in his debut match via a technical knockout (TKO) in the first round at Intrust Bank Arena on Friday.
Rabadanov asserted dominance immediately, applying constant pressure and precise strikes to finish Lee in just 2 minutes and 37 seconds of the first round. The swift victory shocked onlookers and established Rabadanov as a serious contender.
This triumph marks Rabadanov’s 14th consecutive professional victory, with four of those wins achieved by knockout.
His current record showcases 26 wins, four defeats, and two draws across 32 professional MMA bouts.
Following the fight, Rabadanov acknowledged Lee’s established status in MMA, describing the win as a career highlight.
“I am incredibly pleased. Kevin is an MMA icon known by everyone, making this victory particularly significant for me and my supporters,” he stated.
Rabadanov will now compete against Alfie Davis of England in the tournament final. Davis earned his place after a decision victory against Brent Primus.
Rabadanov previously defeated Primus via TKO in the third round at the 2024 final held in Saudi Arabia.
In the women’s flyweight division, Liz Carmouche retained her Bellator title, handing Elora Dana her first professional loss through a unanimous decision.
Jena Bishop also progressed to the final, defeating Ukraine’s Ekaterina Shakalova with a chokehold in the second round.
The 2025 PFL World Championship, featuring both finals, is scheduled for August 15 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.
