MULTAN: In a captivating showdown at the Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, Quetta Gladiators triumphed over Karachi Kings by a narrow margin of five runs. This victory marks their second triumph in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10.
Gladiators’ Innings
The Gladiators, after electing to bat first, were dismissed for 142 in 19.3 overs. The Kings’ bowling attack proved effective, with Hasan Ali spearheading the charge by claiming three wickets. Mir Hamza and Abbas Afridi supported well, each securing two wickets.
Faheem Ashraf’s vital innings of 43 from 27 balls, which included four fours and three sixes, was instrumental for Quetta. Kusal Mendis added 36 off 22 balls, while Hassan Nawaz contributed 35 from 34 deliveries, bolstering the middle order.
