Privatisation Commission to Issue New EOI for PIACL Divestment

ISLAMABAD: The Privatisation Commission Board convened on Thursday and resolved to release a revised Expression of Interest (EOI) for the divestment of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) in the coming week.

The 233rd session of the PC Board took place at the Privatisation Commission. Muhammad Ali, the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Privatisation and Chairman of the Privatisation Commission, presided over the meeting.

The board members sanctioned the prequalification standards for choosing potential bidders interested in acquiring 51 to 100 percent of the shares of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) through divestment.

The publication of the updated EOI concerning the PIACL divestment is scheduled for the following week.

The board’s assembly will continue today, Friday, to address the remaining items on the agenda.
