Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is set to launch a public outreach campaign. Rana Sanaullah, the president of PML-N Punjab, announced the initiative aimed at reorganizing and strengthening the party’s structure.

Sanaullah, also serving as the Prime Minister’s advisor on public and political affairs, addressed journalists outside Jati Umra, stating that he will personally lead the campaign. He intends to present the actual situation on the ground to party president Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Campaign Focus and Expansion
Initially, the campaign will concentrate on Punjab, according to Sanaullah. However, he added that once the PML-N president starts touring other provinces, public rallies will also be organized there.

Context of the Campaign
This public outreach campaign marks the first since the general elections of 2024, which took place on February 8. The elections did not yield a simple majority for any single political entity.

Despite PTI-affiliated independent candidates leading in the election results, the PML-N has claimed to have sufficient numbers to form a government, with some independents joining the party after the polls.

Comments on Imran Khan’s Health
Regarding the visit of American doctors to PTI founder Imran Khan, Sanaullah commented that the doctors did not discuss his release and were likely there to check on his well-being. He also noted that everyone has the freedom to express their opinions on social media platforms.

Remarks on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister
In response to a question about Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Sanaullah stated that Gandapur should have represented his province at the Pakistan Mineral Conference 2024. He added that by not doing so, Gandapur is neglecting his responsibilities.

Sanaullah also emphasized the need to end the practice of filing false political cases and urged political parties to engage in dialogue to resolve issues through mutual understanding.
