Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has temporarily suspended its flights to several Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait. This decision was made in response to the “evolving situation” in the Middle East. The national flag carrier stated that flights to Saudi Arabia will be rerouted to “avoid conflict hit zones.” This move follows widespread flight cancellations and airspace closures across the Middle East. Several countries closed their skies after reports of strikes and retaliatory attacks in the region. International airlines, including Air France, Air India, Turkish Airlines, and Lufthansa, have also announced significant flight disruptions.
