PCJCCI Aims to Bolster Pakistan-China Industrial Ties
The Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) has restated its dedication to reinforcing institutional connections. This initiative seeks to improve industrial cooperation and foster mutual economic advancement within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
PCJCCI President Nazir Hussain affirmed that the organization fully supports the wider goal of industrial progress and is prepared to serve as a vibrant center for collaboration between Pakistan and China.
President Hussain noted the pressing need to establish specialized “China Desks” in various governmental bodies throughout Pakistan. These desks would function as key points to offer Chinese investors and businesses easy access to regulatory assistance, project support, and corporate services. Embedding China Desks within public institutions is expected to greatly increase investor trust, shorten procedural delays, and unite stakeholders around shared industrial objectives.
Brig Mansoor Saeed Sheikh (Retd), Senior Vice President of PCJCCI, stated the intention to integrate the strengths of the private sector with supportive policy structures. This strategy will not only draw increased Chinese investment but also encourage industrial modernization in essential Pakistani industries. He further mentioned that PCJCCI will take an active role in facilitating the utilization of Chinese green technologies and promoting environmentally friendly industrial changes in the nation.
PCJCCI Vice President Zafar Iqbal emphasized the enduring industrial alliance between Pakistan and China, highlighting the importance of enhancing practical connections that foster innovation, improve value, and create lasting economic results. Encouragement will be given to joint projects between Pakistani and Chinese firms in fields like engineering, agricultural processing, renewable energy, and electric vehicles. The development of innovation centers and experimental industrial projects will also be investigated.
Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General of PCJCCI, stated that coordination and institutional synergy are critical for driving progress. PCJCCI is dedicated to initiating collaborative working groups, policy discussions, and industry networking events. The PCJCCI remains a crucial connection between Pakistani industries and Chinese businesses, emphasizing enabling investment, encouraging technology exchange, and improving competitiveness in important industries. The chamber is still committed to enabling organized conversation, business networking, and project creation that will support Pakistan’s long-term industrial expansion and regional economic integration.
