Pakistan to Compete in FIVB U19 Volleyball World Cup
Pakistan is set to participate in the FIVB U19 Volleyball World Cup, scheduled to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from July 21 to August 3.
This marks Pakistan’s inaugural appearance in this esteemed youth volleyball competition. The national squad earned its place in the tournament following a bronze medal victory at the U18 Asian Championship the previous year.
Pakistan has been drawn into Group A, which includes host nation Uzbekistan, Belgium, Turkey, Argentina, and Puerto Rico.
Match Schedule
The team will commence its campaign on July 24 against Belgium, followed by matches against Uzbekistan on July 25, Turkey on July 26, Puerto Rico on July 28, and Argentina on July 29.
Squad Selection
The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) has announced a preliminary roster of 15 players for the event. The final 12-member team will be confirmed prior to their departure for Tashkent.
