Pakistan Announces Squad for T20I Series Against Bangladesh

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed its 15-member team on Tuesday for the forthcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh. The series is slated to commence on July 20 at the Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

All-rounder Salman Ali Agha will remain the T20I team’s captain. Shadab Khan, the vice-captain, alongside fast bowler Haris Rauf, will be absent due to injuries.

Fast bowler Salman Mirza, recognized for his remarkable performances with the Lahore Qalandars during Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9, has been selected for the national squad.

He secured nine wickets across four games, maintaining an average of 15.00 and an economy rate of 9.64.

The Pakistan squad is expected to reach Bangladesh on July 16. The T20I series will begin on July 20, with subsequent matches scheduled for July 22 and 24.

The last encounter between the two teams occurred in May of this year, resulting in Pakistan achieving a 3-0 series victory on their home ground.
