Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan Amid Global Downtrend

On Saturday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring a similar trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs342,200, marking a reduction of Rs2,300.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of 10-gram gold also declined, reaching Rs293,381 after a decrease of Rs1,972.

The previous day, Friday, saw the gold price per tola at Rs344,500, reflecting a drop of Rs1,300.

Internationally, gold rates also decreased on Friday. The APGJSA indicated that the international rate was $3,263 per ounce (including a $20 premium), representing a $13 decrease during the day.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola in Pakistan remained steady at Rs3,427.
