Induction of Z-10ME Attack Helicopter into Pakistan Army Aviation

Field Marshal Asim Munir graced the induction ceremony of the advanced Z-10ME attack helicopter into Pakistan Army Aviation. The event took place during his visit to the Multan Garrison, according to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.

The military’s media wing stated, “This cutting-edge platform, functional in all weather conditions, can execute precision strike operations both during the day and at night. The Z-10ME is equipped with advanced radar systems and modern electronic warfare suites, substantially improving the Army’s ability to counter various threats from the air and ground.”

During his visit, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) also observed a firepower demonstration using the newly inducted Z-10ME helicopters at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges.

A press release from ISPR noted, “The inclusion of this powerful system signifies a considerable advancement in the modernization of Army Aviation. It strengthens its integrated battlefield response and enhances its capacity to deliver impactful results against potential enemies.”

COAS interacted with the troops, commending their outstanding morale, commitment, and combat skills.

He praised the successful display of combined arms strategies, which demonstrates the Army’s strong determination to sustain a crucial advantage in the changing nature of warfare.

Furthermore, Field Marshal Munir received a briefing on the formation’s operational readiness and current training activities, expressing contentment with the elevated standards of preparedness.

The COAS had an interactive session with academics and members of civil society, highlighting the importance of national unity, civil-military cooperation, and a comprehensive national strategy to address hybrid threats and promote social unity.
