Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan Amid Global Downtrend

On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decrease, mirroring a similar trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market dropped by Rs10,400, settling at Rs340,500.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs8,917, eventually reaching Rs291,923.

Previously, on Friday, the per tola price of gold had reached Rs350,900 after a reduction of Rs1,800.

The global gold rate also saw a decline. The APGJSA reported the international rate at $3,221 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $104 decrease for the day.

Additionally, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs17, bringing it to Rs3400.
