Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan
On Friday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced an uptick, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs362,700, marking a single-day increase of Rs500.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs428, settling at Rs310,956.
The previous day, Thursday, saw gold per tola priced at Rs362,200, after an increase of Rs2,900 during trading.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a rise. APGJSA reported the international rate at $3,400 per ounce (including a premium of $20), representing a $5 increase.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs14, reaching a final price of Rs4,073.
