Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan
On Thursday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced an upswing, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market climbed to Rs354,700, marking an increase of Rs3,200 during the day’s trading.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs304,098, reflecting a gain of Rs2,744.
To recall, the price of gold per tola had settled at Rs351,500 on Wednesday, after decreasing by Rs3,000 during the day.
Internationally, gold rates also saw an increase. The international rate, according to APGJSA, reached $3,324 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which is a gain of $32.
Concurrently, the price of silver per tola also edged higher, increasing by Rs10 to reach Rs3,851.
