Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Saturday, mirroring gains in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs358,100, reflecting a rise of Rs1,100 during the day’s trading.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs307,013, after an increase of Rs944.
On Friday, the price of gold per tola had reached Rs357,000, after an increase of Rs2,300 during the day.
Internationally, gold rates also experienced an upward trend today. The international rate, as per APGJSA, stood at $3,356 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking an $11 increase.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola also climbed, increasing by Rs85 to reach Rs4,022.
