Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan
Following a decrease in the previous trading session, gold prices in Pakistan experienced an upswing on Saturday, mirroring gains in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market increased by Rs1,465 during the day, reaching Rs358,465.
According to information released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,256 to reach Rs307,325.
The price of gold per tola had fallen by Rs1,595 on Friday, settling at Rs357,000.
Internationally, gold prices also saw an increase. According to APGJSA, the rate was $3,369 per ounce (including a premium of $20), representing a $13 increase.
Conversely, the price of silver per tola fell by Rs11, settling at Rs3,785.
