Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan

On Thursday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced an increase, mirroring the upward trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market climbed to Rs357,000, marking a gain of Rs800 throughout the day.

According to information released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs306,069, reflecting an increase of Rs685.

The previous day, Wednesday, saw gold reaching Rs356,200 per tola, following a decrease of Rs600 during that day’s trading.

Globally, the price of gold also saw an uptick today. The international rate stood at $3,350 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which represents an $8 increase, as reported by APGJSA.

Concurrently, the price of silver per tola also rose, increasing by Rs55 to settle at Rs3,871.
